Marianne E. Lien

Marianne E. Lien is Professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Oslo, and leads research on ‘Arctic Domestication in the Era of the Anthropocene’ at the Oslo Center for Advanced Study (2015-16). Lien has worked in Finnmark since the 1980’s and is currently doing research in Varanger on landscape and livelihood practices.
