Stockholm Environment Institute
Stockholm Environment Institute – SEI is an international non-profit research and policy organization that tackles environment and development challenges. Through its highly collaborative approach, SEI aims to connect science and decision-making to develop solutions for a sustainable future for all. SEI’s work spans climate, water, air and land-use issues, and integrates evidence and perspectives on governance, the economy, gender and human health.
The Arctic is changing rapidly, with profound implications for social and ecological systems. SEI research seeks to understand the drivers, and implications, of these changes. Besides REXSAC, SEI is involved in several projects related to the Arctic: Synthesis of multiple knowledge sources on the impacts of mining, Resilience and management of Arctic wetlands, CO-LAND and CAPITAL.
