September 6th, 2017
REXSAC researchers Arn Keeling and John Sandlos, both of the Memorial University of Newfoundland, were recently awarded the Canadian Studies Network Prize for Best Edited Collection for the 2015 book Mining and Communities in Northern Canada: History, Politics, and Memory (Calgary: University of Calgary Press). The book is available for free download here (http://press.ucalgary.ca/books/9781552388044). The award recognised the significant level of interdisciplinarity that the collection displayed, and also its successful coverage of a range of historical topics and methods. The book also includes a chapter by REXSAC PhD student Jean-Sébastien Boutet (now at KTH).
